Overview

Paying for your education should be clear and convenient. Whether you’re paying online, using a college savings plan, or receiving financial aid, this page will guide you through the options available at Cal Poly Ðǿմ«Ã½.

Payment Methods Explained


  • Withdraws directly from checking or savings.
  • Most recommended method.
  • Do not enter debit or credit card number

*eCheck (electronic funds transfer from your bank account) / ACH (Automated Clearing House)


  • Accepted online only.  
  • Credit card payments for tuition and fees include a 2.65% processing fee.
  • Credit card payments made through the installment plan include a 2.85% processing fee.



  • Pay Online via Bronco Direct (if your 529 plan provider is available). 
  • If your 529 provider is not available in the payment page drop down, please follow your plan provider instruction on how to request a physical check made payable to cpp).
  • If mailing a physical check, please allow at least 10 business days before the due date.

     

 

 

  • In-person or drop-box payments accepted.
**Include your Bronco ID.

  • FlyWire and PayMyTuition allow local currency conversion.
  • Pay online via BroncoDirect.

Waivers & Deferments

Qualify for Reduced Tuition?

Some students are eligible for tuition waivers or deferred payment options based on military service, employment, or third-party sponsor. The California State University offers eligible employees the opportunity to enroll in the CSU Employee Fee Waiver and Reduction Program. This program provides a waiver or reduction of certain fees for employees and eligible dependents. Employees may enroll in job-related courses offered by the CSU for the purpose of improving skills for existing jobs, or advancement in accordance with a career development plan. Applicants must meet all university admission requirements. Admission to a CSU campus is not guaranteed. Learn more about these options below.
