World War I Discussion

About the Discussion

Jacob Wolak and Lamar Castillo facilitated a World War I discussion series during the fall of 2019.  As discussion leaders their goal was connect to the past through the use of text to explore how World War I served as an impetus for the State of California's great transformation. These dialogues were based on selections from Diane M.T. North’s California at War: The State and the People During World War I. Participants were able to attend these discussions at Cal Poly Ðǿմ«Ã½ and at Chapman University Leatherby Library's Center for American War Letters Archives.
