Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s Chemistry & Biochemistry Department offers three B.S. degree options and an M.Sc. program to prepare students for careers in chemistry. The faculty embrace Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s inclusive polytechnic identity and embody the teacher-scholar model by providing students with experiential learning and discovery opportunities through extensive laboratory study.
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2027. We seek candidates with expertise in cosmetic or formulation chemistry (from any subdiscipline) and/or organic chemistry who are passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and developing an active research program within our teacher-scholar model.
