Effective Jan 1, 2025 the CPP Livescan Office may only accept Livescan Applications for those that are working or volunteering for programs involving unaccompanied minors. Please contact livescan@cpp.edu if you need help determining if your program qualifies.

Live Scan Information
Cal Poly �ǿմ�ý University Police Department provides Live Scan fingerprinting services only for on-campus entities at the moment.

Live Scan technology allows digitally scanned fingerprints and related information to be submitted electronically to the Department of Justice within a matter of minutes. Please allow at least 30 minutes for processing.

Fees
The California Department of Justice (DOJ) and/or Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) charges an applicant criminal history clearance fee for background checks. Applicants are typically required to pay unless a billing account number is provided by their agency. Fees are subject to change without notice. Rejection Notice

If you had your Live Scan done with our agency, contact us so that we can re-take your fingerprints. Bring the rejection notice and the new, completed Live Scan Request Form. THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONAL FEE FOR THIS RE-SUBMISSION.
