MSTI Programs

MSTI seeks to encourage talented Science and Mathematics majors who are considering secondary teaching. Under the MSTI Program there are several options for support: awards, CSET preparation, additional credential support, monthly seminars, and student learning assistant opportunities.

MSTI Scholar Award

For Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Students

Award: up to $10,000 ($2,500 per semester)

To support Science and Mathematics majors who are seeking a single subject credential in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, and Physics.

MSTI STEM Authorization Award

For Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Students

Award: up to $1,000 for Math or Science Supplementary Authorizations (CPP students)

To support students to obtain their Supplementary or Subject Matter Authorizations in  Math or Science.

Partners in Education

For Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Students

Award: up to $5,000 per year

The organization raises money to support teacher candidates while completing their Clinical Practice. 

Foundational Level General Science Credential

For Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Students and Multiple Subject Credentialed Teachers

For students who are interested in obtaining their Foundational Level General Science Credential.
