Bio

  • Dr. Liang Sun is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. Her research focuses on empirical corporate finance and mutual funds. Liang’s most recent research shows that pilot CEOs are associated with higher intensity of FinTech adoption. Her other papers cover a wide range of topics, from board structure to mutual fund side-by-side management. 
     
  • Prior to joining Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, Liang worked at Illinois Wesleyan University and earned her Ph.D. in Finance from the University of North Texas.
