Dr. Brown is a Professor of Landscape Architecture at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. He previously served as Director of the Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies for 14 years, Interim Dean for the College of Environmental Design, and chair of the University’s Environmental Sustainability Task Force.  Dr. Brown is highly active in the community, having served as a Planning Commissioner for the City of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ from 2017-2024, and as a board member of Clean & Green ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, a local environmental action group, from 2011-Present.  He has been recognized with numerous awards, including the George P. Hart Award for outstanding faculty leadership, multiple community Service Awards from the City of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Unified School District, Clean & Green ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, and Community Service and Professional Merit Awards from the American Society for Landscape Architects.
