Information

To ensure safety and compliance with Cal Poly Ðǿմ«Ã½'s Hot Work Program, all hot work requests must be submitted through the CPP EH&S Hot Work Request System at least two weeks prior to the planned start date. The process includes completing a pre-work assessment to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards and providing documentation of training in fire safety and hot work procedures. After review and approval by Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and Facilities Planning & Management (FPM), the hot work permit will be issued on the first scheduled day of work following an on-site inspection to verify compliance with safety standards.
