Applicants must submit a formal application through the university’s official employment website (linked above) to be considered for the lecturer applicant pool. Only candidates who apply through the posted position and meet the minimum qualifications will be included in the pool and considered for potential appointment.

Lecturer pools are established to support anticipated instructional needs. The department typically hires for fall semester appointments between February and August, and for spring semester appointments between July and January.

Appointments are made on an as-needed basis. I inclusion in the applicant pool does not guarantee employment. All hiring decisions are subject to university policies, applicable collective bargaining agreements and equal opportunity employment requirements.
