Programs We Offer

Bachelor's Degree Programs

The Integrated Teacher Education Program is for students who wish to complete both their bachelor’s degree and teaching credential simultaneously. Currently, we offer the ITEP program for the Education Specialist program through Liberal Studies or Early Childhood Studies.

Credential Programs

Cal Poly Ðǿմ«Ã½'s post-baccalaureate credential program prepares teacher candidates to work with TK-12 students from diverse backgrounds and to become teacher leaders within the schools and community. Our programs are fully accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and meet all state teacher preparation standards.

Master's Degree Program

The master’s program offers an advanced degree in the Master’s of Arts in Education with options in Curriculum & Instruction and Special Education. The program offers students the opportunity to pursue both the credential and master’s degree simultaneously in a combined program.

Teacher Intern Program

When qualified teachers are not available, school districts often search for an individual who has either partially completed a credential program and shows great promise of being highly successful or an individual who has the subject matter competence, experience and maturity to learn the craft of teaching while being paid as the teacher of record for a class.
