Strategic Plan 2025-2026

Refining Our Shared Direction

During the 2025-26 academic year, the College of Education and Integrative Studies continued the development of its first comprehensive strategic plan, building on the planning and engagement that began during the previous academic year. 

The Planning Timeline

August 2025: Refining Our Direction
Faculty and staff participated in an interactive planning session featuring:

  • Goal Labs
  • Gallery Walk
  • Real-time voting

Fall 2025: Refining Priorities
Feedback was translated into the Strategic Planning Matrix, while the committee continued refining goals, priorities, and areas of focus.

January and February 2026: Building the Task Force
An all-college call resulted in nine full- and part-time faculty joining the Strategic Planning Task Force and beginning work with the strategic planning consultant.

March 2026: Testing the Priorities
Faculty and staff explored risks, challenges, and potential actions at the All-College Meeting, followed by a survey and discussions with department chairs.

April 2026: Listening to the Community
Community members participated in a listening session, adding an external perspective to the emerging plan.

May 2026: Plan Endorsed 
The Strategic Planning Task Force endorsed the plan, marking a major milestone in the college-wide process.

Throughout its development, the CEIS strategic plan was considered alongside , Cal Poly Ðǿմ«Ã½'s Transitional Plan, and CPP institutional priorities, helping ensure that our future direction is connected to broader university and CSU priorities.
