August 2025: Refining Our Direction
Faculty and staff participated in an interactive planning session featuring:
- Goal Labs
- Gallery Walk
- Real-time voting
Fall 2025: Refining Priorities
Feedback was translated into the Strategic Planning Matrix, while the committee continued refining goals, priorities, and areas of focus.
January and February 2026: Building the Task Force
An all-college call resulted in nine full- and part-time faculty joining the Strategic Planning Task Force and beginning work with the strategic planning consultant.
March 2026: Testing the Priorities
Faculty and staff explored risks, challenges, and potential actions at the All-College Meeting, followed by a survey and discussions with department chairs.
April 2026: Listening to the Community
Community members participated in a listening session, adding an external perspective to the emerging plan.
May 2026: Plan Endorsed
The Strategic Planning Task Force endorsed the plan, marking a major milestone in the college-wide process.

Throughout its development, the CEIS strategic plan was considered alongside , Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s Transitional Plan, and CPP institutional priorities, helping ensure that our future direction is connected to broader university and CSU priorities.
