Machine Learning with Tidymodels

The Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing presents “Machine Learning with Tidymodels” featuring Dr. Carsten Lange, a center advisor. Dr. Lange is currently a Professor in the Economics Department in the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences, Cal Poly Ðǿմ«Ã½. He is also the Graduate Coordinator for the Economics Department. In this workshop, Dr. Lange discusses the problem of overlearning, introduces the Tidymodels package, presents 3 types of machine learning models, and explains cross-validation.
