Services to Business Community
The Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing helps businesses better understand their customers, strengthen their marketing strategy, and execute digital tactics that create lasting value. Whether you need customer insights, stronger marketing strategy, better content, or more effective digital campaigns, the Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing helps move your business forward.
Overview
The Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing partners with businesses through a long-term, collaborative approach to marketing strategy, customer insight, and digital marketing. Rather than emphasizing one-time consulting engagements, the Center is committed to helping clients create lasting value by strengthening strategy, improving execution, and supporting long-term business success.
Meaningful results rarely come from a single set of recommendations alone. They require a deeper understanding of the client's business, thoughtful integration of insights into marketing strategy, and continued support in developing and implementing effective tactics. For this reason, the Center works with clients across multiple years, with each successive class building on the progress made by previous student teams.
How it Works
Faculty and students work closely with small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs to address important marketing challenges through market research, customer insight, and digital marketing projects. Faculty members recruit and mentor a select group of qualified students, collaborate with clients before the class begins to understand their goals and challenges, and remain actively involved throughout the project.
Depending on the client's needs, student teams may use custom-designed surveys, website analytics, and other relevant data sources to generate actionable insights and recommendations. When appropriate, the work extends beyond research to include the development of marketing tactics, strategic planning, and implementation support. Because projects may continue across multiple classes, clients benefit from sustained progress and a deeper level of engagement than a traditional one-time consulting model can provide.
Why You Should Consider Our Services
The Center’s approach is grounded in partnership, mutual commitment, and shared value creation. Faculty and students contribute research-based expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on support, while clients invest their time, trust, and collaboration in a process designed to produce meaningful and sustainable outcomes. That shared commitment is an essential part of the success of the collaboration.
For businesses, the benefit is not simply receiving a report, but engaging in an ongoing partnership that helps translate insight into strategy and strategy into action. For students, these collaborations provide invaluable experiential learning opportunities through direct engagement with real-world business challenges. In this way, the Center supports both business success and the preparation of future marketing professionals.
