CARECEN Immigration Legal Services
CARECEN provides free immigration legal services to the Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ community through the CSU Project, funded by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). Services are available both in-person and virtually and include:
General consultations
DACA renewals (apply at least 180 days before expiration; fee assistance available)
Family petitions
Humanitarian relief
Removal defense
Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)
Naturalization
Advance Parole
Other immigration relief
Who Qualifies?
Currently enrolled CPP students
CPP faculty and staff
Immediate family members (parents, siblings, children, spouses)
Alumni who graduated within the last two years
