What does this mean for me? For those with personal computers running Windows 10, the campus strongly recommends users consider the following options:
- to be sure it is supported, if it is running Windows 11, no further action is needed.
- If your computer is running Windows 10, you can if your computer .
- If your computer meets the Windows 11 hardware requirements, the campus recommends .
- If your computer does NOT meet Windows 11 hardware requirements, consider the following options:
- Recommended: Use a newer computer with a secure and supported operating system.
- Temporary Option: Enroll in (ESU) plan. The ESU plan provides one year of Windows 10 support. However, please note that the ESU requires a Microsoft account and/or a $30 purchase. ESU will expire on October 13, 2026.
