Network Maintenance Tonight

Summary: IT will perform network maintenance this evening, Thursday, July 31.

What does this mean for you? Expect a disruption in network connectivity from 10 to 11:30 p.m. this evening if you are on campus.


Planned Wi-Fi Outage Saturday

Summary: A planned power outage scheduled for Saturday, August 2, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. will disrupt campus Wi-Fi and phones in and near Campus Housing, the University Village, and the the following buildings, 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 35, 46, 92, 94, 95, 97, 111, 112, 116, 164, 220a,b&c, and 301.

What does this mean for you? Any Wi-Fi connected devices in or near these locations will lose access to the internet and campus network during this outage.


MATLAB Computer Lab Upgrades

Summary: The Division of IT&IP, Client Services department, has begun to upgrade over 600 MATLAB computer lab workstations ahead of the Fall 2025 semester. The following locations will be upgraded between today, Thursday, July 31, and Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

  • College of Science lab locations 3-2011, 3-2117, and 8-147.
  • College of Engineering lab locations 9-111, 9-119, 9-147, 9-205, 9-253, 9-409, 9-431, 9-435, 9-503, 9-507, 9-523, 13-1229, 17-1467, 17-1628, 17-1671, 17-2103, 17-2107, 17-2236, 17-2646, 17-2654,17-2660, 17-2664, and 17-2670.

What does this mean for you? All computer lab workstations featuring MATLAB will be upgraded to version R2025a. When users start the application, they will be prompted to or create a MathWorks account connected to their BroncoAccount using 2-step verification. The experience is similar to opening Adobe Creative Cloud applications on lab computers.

Planned Maintenance Times

  • Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., midnight.
  • Sundays, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

During these times, online services may be briefly unavailable without advance notice.

Updated Classroom Equipment Signage

Over the summer, IT added new signs and helpful stickers in CPP classrooms to make using in-room technology easier for everyone. These visuals offer clear guidance, so you can feel more confident operating the equipment.


25Live Training for Faculty and Staff

25Live is a web-based event platform that optimizes campus space usage and provides tools for collaborative scheduling of classrooms, conference rooms, outdoor spaces, and multi-purpose rooms.

August 13, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., and on demand following that time, staff and faculty can create searches for rooms, request event space, and manage your existing reservations in this one-hour training session.
