CPP students in any college and majoring in any subject are eligible to apply for the Panetta Internship. Applicants must be currently enrolled with junior class status (scheduled to graduate no earlier than Spring 2025), and have 3.0 GPA or higher. Additional eligibility criteria include: being a CA resident, proof of health insurance, and proof of Covid-19 vaccinations. Each student wishing to be considered must submit the following:
· Two-page written essay stating the reasons for your interest in the Panetta Institute’s Congressional Internship Program
· A current resumé
· Names and contact information of two faculty references who will endorse your application — we will contact the faculty members and ask for a reference.
· A graded writing assignment from a recent Cal Poly ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ class that exemplifies your analytical skills and writing abilities*
